Description
The Flytanium hardware kit for the PM3 knife includes everything you need to replace all visible hardware on the knife, including screws, stop barrel, barrel spacers, and lanyard tube. The only stock part that is not replaced is the pivot barrel, which is made from steel. The installation of the hardware kit requires some basic tools and knowledge, and is not easy to take apart. Spyderco's warranty does not cover disassembly of any knife by any person other than Spydercos Warranty department.
Replace all the steel hardware on your PM3 with Titanium! Flytanium's full hardware kit includes everything you need to replace all visible hardware on your knife: Pivot Screws, Body Screws, Pocket Clip Screws, Threaded Stop Barrel, Barrel Spacer, and Lanyard Tube. The only stock piece this kit won't replace is the pivot barrel - steel performs better than titanium for this part and you definitely want to keep that drop-shut action! This hardware kit weighs about 0.11 oz.
Installation of the hardware kit requires some basic tools and knowledge. You will need a high-quality Torx bit set to remove the screws and pivots. The pivot can be tough to remove. There are some good informational videos on YouTube if you need more instructions.
Disclaimer: There are many small parts and pieces on the Para 3. It is NOT easy to take apart. Disassemble at your own risk.
